Privacy Policy — Baby Sleep Sounds

Baby Sleep Sounds is made by Tervo. We designed it to keep your information private: the app does not collect or share your personal data, and nothing you do in the app is sent to us or to anyone else. The only data the app keeps is stored locally on your device, under your control.

Data we collect

None. Baby Sleep Sounds does not collect personal data. There is no account and no sign-up. We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or any third-party SDKs. The app has no backend server of ours — there is nowhere for us to send or store your data.

Data stored on your device

The app saves a few things locally on your device so it can work the way you expect:

• your app preferences and onboarding state,
• the sound mixes you create and save,
• a few on-device counters that decide when to show the optional "rate the app" prompt (for example, how many days you've used the app),
• your purchase status (whether you have unlocked premium).

This information never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us. Because it lives only on your device, you are in full control of it: there is no consent for us to manage and nothing for us to retain or delete on a server. You can erase all of it at any time by deleting the app. (If you back up your device with iCloud or your computer, that backup is created and handled by Apple and may include the app's data; we never have access to it.)

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes your payment and acts as the data controller for the information involved in the transaction — we never see or store your payment details. Apple shares with us only aggregated, anonymized sales information, and the app itself only learns whether your purchase is active, so it can unlock premium features — never your name, payment method, or any detail that identifies you personally. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Apple's handling of your information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Tracking and advertising

We do not track you across apps or websites, and the app does not use the device advertising identifier (IDFA). There are no ads. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we have not done so in the past 12 months.

Children's privacy

Baby Sleep Sounds is intended for parents and other adults and is not directed to children. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from a child under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at support@tervoapps.com and we will address it promptly.

Your privacy rights

Privacy laws such as the EU/EEA and UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), among others, give you rights over the personal data a company holds about you — for example, to access, correct, delete, or transfer it. Because Baby Sleep Sounds collects no personal data and we hold nothing about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you have any questions, you can always reach us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, note them in an app update.
